In August 2022, there were totally 34 consumer products recalled cases (excluding toys, electrical appliances and textiles) from EU Rapex system. As for country of origin, three were from Poland, two were from Turkey, one was from Italy, two were from UK, one was from US, one was from Austrial, one was from Korea, one was unknown, the rest were all from mainland of China. There were 3 products (belt, gloves) cases were recalled that contain excessive amount of chromium (Ⅵ). Chromium (Ⅵ) is sensitising and can trigger allergic reactions, and may cause cancer.
There were 3 recalled cases from America, as for country of origin, one was unknow, one was from Taiwan of China, one was from mainland of China.
There were 2 recalled cases from Canada, as for country of origin, two were from mainland of China.
There were 2 recalled cases from Australia, which the country of origin was unknow.
