In August 2022, there were totally 25 toys recalled cases from EU Rapex system. As for country of origin, one was from Germany, one was from Turkey, one was unknown, the rest were all from mainland of China.
A total of three expandable toys have been recalled which expands more than 50% in size when in contact with water. If child puts it in the mouth or swallows it, the contact with saliva or stomach liquids will cause the figurine to expand, which can result in occlusion of the respiratory track or intestinal blockage.
There were 2 recalled cases from US, two were from mainland of China.
There were 2 recalled cases from Canada, two were from mainland of China.
There was 1 recalled case from Australia, which the country of origin was unknown.
