The South Africa Bureau of Standards (SABS) have accredited CTI’s EMC laboratory to provide SABS EMC Testing & Certification services. The scope covers a wide range of electronic and electrical products; including home appliances, lights, AV and IT devices, enabling CTI to offer market access services to companies importing into South Africa. CTI are officially an accredited SABS A-Lab as of November 2021, helping companies gain access to the South African market for the sale & distribution of electrical & electronic products.
About SABS EMC
Before applying for a SABS EMC Certificate any electronic or electrical product must be tested against South African National Standards (SANS) in an EMC A-Lab approved by SABS. Upon successful certification by a SABS EMC laboratory, such as CTI, the product can then be imported into the South African market.
